Data Engineer – Databricks, Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Design, establish, and operate a Databricks application for managing and reserving capacities in substations.

• Create new pages and features within Power BI dashboards.

• Integrate and connect new data sources to current Power BI reports.

• Enhance, stabilize, and deploy a Databricks application based on an existing MVP.

• Automate interfaces and data integrations, including data transfers to EAM/SAP systems and implementing automated data correction and quality processes.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, implementation activities, and interim results.

• Engage in diverse projects for international clients in financial services, telecommunications, automotive, and energy sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of pertinent professional experience, including practical experience with Databricks projects.

• Strong programming expertise in a corporate or enterprise setting.

• Significant experience working with databases and data-driven applications.

• Proficient hands-on knowledge of Databricks, SQL, Power BI, Python, and Git.

• Basic understanding of electrical engineering and knowledge of the structure and operation of substations is advantageous.

• Previous experience with the client or familiarity with the client's environment is a plus.

• Excellent proficiency in the German language, both written and spoken.
