This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Collaborate with clients to enhance financial management processes, operations, and systems.
• Offer capabilities in data management, analysis, and visualization for accounting and financial tasks.
• Develop ad hoc Python scripts and SQL queries or modify existing scripts for data ingestion or transformation.
• Oversee data pipelines in a large Databricks AWS Data Lake utilizing S3, Glue, SQL, and Python.
• Transform source data and establish data models and connections for Power BI dashboards.
• Generate or compile documentation for products.
• Assess technical processes and systems to uncover gaps and suggest enhancements.
• Assist with modernization efforts, advanced analytics, and automation projects for federal clients.
• Integrate tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Power Apps, and Databricks.
• Design, configure, and develop tailored Microsoft Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Diagnose and resolve development and production issues to ensure dependable data pipelines.
• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to update legacy environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Logistics, or Business Management.
• Proficient in core technological skills such as Python, SQL, Microsoft Dataverse (CDS), Power Apps, Power Automate, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with data analytics, automation, and AI tools.
• Experience with ETL pipelines, the integration of data sources, and processing large datasets.
• Background in refactoring and optimizing legacy code.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide high-impact solutions in fast-paced settings.
• Possession of an active Secret DoD security clearance and the capability to maintain it throughout employment.
• Knowledge of Army financial systems, including ADVANA, GFEBS, and LMP.
• Previous experience in supporting federal audit readiness or CFO functions within DoW or similar organizations.
• Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik), with familiarity in data platforms (e.g., Databricks) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
