Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable data pipelines and integrations across various enterprise systems and external data sources.

• Develop and manage cloud-based data products utilizing Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark.

• Generate reliable datasets that facilitate analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.

• Establish data quality, governance, security, and monitoring frameworks.

• Partner with Data Scientists to support advanced analytics and machine learning applications.

• Promote ongoing enhancement of the global data ecosystem and engineering standards.

• Contribute to the evolution and sophistication of the newly formed Digital Centre of Excellence.

• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Translators, Enterprise Architecture teams, and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Apache Spark.

• Experience in constructing ELT pipelines within cloud environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of data modeling, architecture, and governance.

• Experience with contemporary data platforms and scalable data solutions.

• A collaborative approach and excellent problem-solving skills.
