This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Design, establish, and maintain reliable data pipelines and services for ESCS reporting, integration, migration, and analytics.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and models across ESCS source and target platforms.
• Incorporate data quality, lineage, security, and operational monitoring into delivery processes.
• Facilitate migration, reporting, and decision-making by providing dependable data engineering.
• Create and implement ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing pipelines.
• Construct data models and assist in the design of warehouses, lakehouses, or platforms.
• Enforce data quality controls, reconciliation, lineage, and metadata management.
• Aid in the management of master and reference data approaches.
• Collaborate with relevant specialists to engineer secure access, retention, and protection controls.
• Strategize and carry out data migration, cleansing, and cutover activities.
• Oversee pipeline reliability, performance, and cost while resolving operational issues.
• Document data flows, mappings, rules, interfaces, and support procedures.
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation.
• Experience with Python or similar data engineering languages.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and orchestration.
• Familiarity with data modeling and warehousing/lakehouse concepts.
• Knowledge of data quality, reconciliation, and observability techniques.
• Understanding of data governance, cataloging, metadata, and lineage.
• Awareness of master and reference data management practices.
• Competence in data security and access control.
• Experience in data migration and mapping.
• Familiarity with cloud data services on Azure and/or AWS.
• Development and support experience for production data pipelines.
• Background with structured data, integration patterns, and data modeling.
• Proven experience in implementing data quality and operational monitoring.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with analysts, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
• SC clearance is required to commence and for the role.
• Desired experience includes AWS Data Services, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI data ecosystems, and enterprise SaaS data integration and migration, particularly in procurement, supply chain, or transactional data.
