Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Gather, process, and sanitize data from diverse sources.

• Create and execute data models, ETL pipelines, and automation workflows.

• Perform comprehensive data analyses and develop predictive models to address business challenges.

• Generate reports and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker.

• Collaborate closely with clients to grasp business issues and deliver actionable insights.

• Continuously enhance internal processes by automating repetitive tasks.

• Assist in account growth initiatives by identifying opportunities to add further value to clients.

• Ensure the quality of data pipelines, timely project delivery, client impact, reporting quality, and improvements in automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• Strong expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling.

• Proficient in Python and SQL, along with other relevant languages/tools.

• Experience in building ETL pipelines and transforming data from various sources.

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Preferred experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

• GCP certification is preferred.

• Knowledge of big data processing tools like Spark or Hadoop is preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.

• Full-time employment requires residing and working in Australia with an AUS tax number; otherwise, contractor status applies.
