This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full responsibility for the overall health of EULER’s data lifecycle, encompassing capture, validation, protection, and structuring.
• Establish instrumentation requirements and collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate data recording.
• Develop validation and reconciliation systems to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Manage data protection and anonymization practices while documenting commitments to customers.
• Create canonical data models and taxonomies applicable across various customers.
• Generate datasets and documentation that support reporting and analytics efforts.
• Make data comprehensible for non-technical stakeholders through effective documentation.
• Set the benchmark for data management at EULER and independently oversee the data domain.
• Proficient in SQL, including window functions and precise aggregation techniques.
• Experience in managing production data pipelines from start to finish.
• Software engineering capabilities to write, test, and review code for data pipelines.
• Code that is both tested and reviewable.
• A critical, data-driven mindset towards validating figures and distributions.
• Capacity to independently manage a domain and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Proficient in professional working English.
• Availability during working hours on the US East Coast.
• Nice to have: experience with data privacy, specifically in anonymization and pseudonymization.
• Nice to have: familiarity with GDPR/LGPD in practical applications.
• Nice to have: experience in multi-tenant B2B SaaS data environments.
• Nice to have: knowledge of dbt or a similar analytics engineering framework.
• Nice to have: understanding of statistics, including survival analysis, censoring, selection bias, and hierarchical models.
• Nice to have: experience with Cloudflare Workers and Hyperdrive.
• Nice to have: familiarity with Postgres, Parquet, or DuckDB.
• Nice to have: experience with Bubble or similar low-code platforms.
• A portfolio in deep learning, an LLM, or a PhD are not mandatory.
