Data Collection Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Gathers information for data analytics, which includes asset tagging and data collection.

• Conducts on-site surveys to evaluate the condition of property development.

• Captures images of representative systems and conditions.

• Records information in a client database.

• Follows client site visit protocols diligently.

• Collects data on building systems, such as HVAC, refrigeration, and point of sale.

• May also gather data related to IoT devices.

• Travels to client locations, with potential travel up to 100% of the time for varying durations.

• Utilizes problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to assist with projects of basic to moderate complexity.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

• Does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in data collection for building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and point of sale.

• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time; travel may reach 100% depending on the assignment.

• High school diploma is required.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, sciences, IT, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong skills in time management and problem-solving.

• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.

• Proficiency with iPad/iPhone and iOS systems.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

• Must be able to safely access roofs as part of the job responsibilities.

• Valid driver's license is required.

• Completion of the OSHA 10-Hour Safety Course is necessary.

• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret property condition issues effectively.

• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, consultative, and customer service skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Capacity to respond effectively to sensitive issues, complex inquiries, or complaints.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in developing strategic solutions.

• Competency in using programs, applications, and web platforms for data collection, word processing, spreadsheets, communications, and project tracking.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to manage deliverables for multiple ongoing projects.
