Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +41 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer nationwide support to Data Center Key Account Managers in crafting proposals for field services related to mission-critical data center infrastructure.

• Identify and suggest value-added service solutions for data center operators and colocation providers.

• Develop competitive bids, estimates, and quotations while taking into account product mix as well as technical and commercial factors.

• Ensure that tenders are comprehensive, timely, detailed, and contain complete and accurate cost information.

• Oversee and manage the technical, financial, and, when necessary, project management components of bids, estimates, and quotations.

• Specify pricing and trading conditions.

• Manage the collection and archiving of offer/order documentation.

• Document assumptions and decisions made during the proposal development process.

• Provide regular updates on the status of bids, estimates, and quotations.

• Assist with proposals that involve start-up and commissioning services, preventive maintenance, power distribution upgrades, arc flash mitigation, and 24/7 emergency service agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or business.

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, or Field Service is required.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically as necessary.

• Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally within the data center sector.

• Technical familiarity with data center customers and their operational processes.

• Capability to work closely with both internal and external clients.

• Previous experience with contract terms and conditions or execution.

• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
