This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Collaborate with engineering during the design and preconstruction phases, then oversee execution until construction is fully completed.
• Take charge of the site permitting process for new and expanding data center locations.
• Develop and implement strategies for power and utility procurement, negotiating with utility providers.
• Act as the primary customer-facing representative for significant construction projects.
• Manage relationships with executives and coordinate efforts between contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate the transition from construction to operations.
• Represent US Signal to customers, partners, and communities as the company expands into new markets.
• Ensure that projects are completed safely, effectively, and in alignment with business goals.
• Proven experience in leading data center construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of power, cooling, and other essential infrastructure systems.
• Background in utility coordination, power procurement, or infrastructure capacity planning for large-scale construction or development initiatives.
• Experience in building and managing executive-level customer relationships in construction, project delivery, account management, or client-facing roles.
• Familiarity with managing site permitting and land development, zoning, regulatory, or entitlement processes for commercial or industrial construction projects.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability in accordance with company policy.
• Willingness to travel 25–35%, including at least one monthly visit to each active construction site.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, real estate, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 4 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, including data centers, mission-critical facilities, or complex commercial construction.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
