Data, AWS DevSecOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical liaison for Data & Analytics.

• Offer support and direction regarding technical requirements and incidents across various use cases.

• Evaluate and estimate new demands related to components of the data platform and data products.

• Provide recommendations on the Data reference architecture and validate designs for new initiatives.

• Collaborate in defining and enhancing data platform components.

• Assist in formulating architecture for new data products and use cases.

• Guide technical teams on architecture, development, security, and operational best practices.

• Enhance governance, security, documentation, observability, and cost management throughout the data platform.

• Engage in the technical assessment of new profiles and vendors, including conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.

• Maintain and review technical documentation pertaining to data architecture and the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in IT and Data environments, specifically in DevSecOps, architecture, or data platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

• Extensive knowledge of data architectures and Cloud environments, especially AWS.

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and databases.

• Familiarity with Big Data technologies and ecosystems.

• Understanding of Cloud and Data security, including IAM, permissions and roles, access management, encryption, anonymization, and data segregation.

• Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code, ETL/orchestration, as well as monitoring and observability tools.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Capability to serve as a technical reference and align technology choices with business objectives.

• Proficient in English at a B2-C1 level.

• Experience with tools such as Snowflake, DynamoDB, Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, Terraform, CloudFormation, Glue, OpenSearch/Elastic, Kibana, Denodo, Starburst, or similar is an advantage.
