Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple delivery pods involved in AI, Data Engineering, and Analytics initiatives

• Take responsibility for sprint planning, backlog management, delivery quality, and execution

• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and escalations

• Ensure the successful completion of project milestones and SOW commitments

• Manage a diverse team including AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Architects, Scrum Leads, and Technical Leads

• Provide mentorship and coaching to engineering teams

• Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate career growth

• Promote engineering excellence and best practices in delivery

• Review solution architecture and technical designs

• Guide teams on AI, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, Data Engineering, and Cloud platforms

• Guarantee scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions

• Collaborate with solution architects on critical technical choices

• Engage in discovery workshops and solution discussions

• Deliver project updates to stakeholders

• Manage client expectations and address delivery challenges

• Foster trusted relationships with both business and technical stakeholders

• Enhance delivery processes and governance

• Assist with recruitment and technical interviewing

• Track resource utilization and delivery metrics

⛳️ Requirements

• 12–20 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, AI, or Enterprise Technology

• At least 5 years of experience leading engineering or delivery teams

• Proven track record in delivering enterprise AI, Data Engineering, Analytics, or Cloud projects

• Strong background in client-facing consulting or professional services

• Experience in dynamic, high-growth environments

• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG

• Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks

• Expertise in data engineering and data pipelines

• Proficiency in Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP

• Understanding of MLOps and DevOps

• Experience in technical architecture

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies

• Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise AI solutions

• Strong knowledge of contemporary Data & AI architecture

• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Experience in startups or product engineering is a plus

• Preference for candidates with an immediate or maximum 15-day notice period
