This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver enterprise-wide data design and optimization for conceptual architecture and data solution initiatives.
• Partner with DoD and DON IT domains to ensure alignment with the priorities set by the DON Chief Data Office.
• Produce high-level operational concept documents that detail system architecture interactions.
• Develop, modify, maintain, and document data transformation and standardization baselines using Jira or comparable tools.
• Convert enterprise and business requirements into long-term information architecture patterns and solutions.
• Offer data modeling and validation services for adaptable, extensible, and scalable data structures.
• Create and oversee data models, diagrams, flows, and deliverables related to metadata.
• Assist in master data management, data quality initiatives, data management policies and standards, data governance, and metadata management frameworks.
• Facilitate mission-driven decision-making within the Department of the Navy’s Total Force Manpower and Human Resources portfolio.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in modeling processes and data utilizing architecture disciplines and industry modeling standards.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with data management, enterprise repositories, data modeling, data quality, and data mapping tools.
• Capability to design enterprise data solutions that align with strategic data initiatives.
• Experience in developing conceptual and integration models for expansive environments.
• Strong collaborative abilities across multi-domain DON and DoD IT teams.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools and project management systems, such as Jira.
• Excellent analytical skills for converting complex enterprise needs into scalable data design solutions.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Current Network+, Security+, or higher certification that meets DoD CIO Information Assurance certification requirements.
• Must currently hold a Secret clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
