Data Annotator – Geospatial, LiDAR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Reconstruct 3D power grid networks utilizing point cloud (LiDAR) and mapping (GIS) data.

• Position 3D elements such as poles, lines, and conductors to accurately reflect real-world physical arrangements.

• Integrate original 2D mapping data with 3D models.

• Annotate high-resolution drone images to pinpoint grid components and identify structural issues like equipment damage or wear.

• Assist in mapping and reconstructing electrical distribution networks for a 3D digital twin initiative.

• Contribute to efforts aimed at preventing power grid failures and managing critical infrastructure globally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong spatial reasoning skills and the ability to navigate three-dimensional environments.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level for understanding instructions, viewing training materials, and effective communication.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Openness to learning from constructive feedback.

• Personal computer or laptop equipped with an Intel i7-11800H or an equivalent/better CPU.

• Dedicated GPU: NVIDIA T1200 or superior; RTX 4060 is recommended.

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM; 32 GB is preferred.

• Resume in English emphasizing spatial and technical proficiencies.
