Data Annotator – Geospatial, LiDAR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Reconstruct 3D power grid networks utilizing point cloud (LiDAR) and mapping (GIS) data.

• Position 3D elements (such as poles, lines, and conductors) to accurately reflect real-world physical arrangements.

• Align original 2D mapping data with 3D representations.

• Annotate high-resolution drone imagery to identify grid components and detect structural issues like equipment damage or wear.

• Assist in mapping and reconstructing electrical distribution networks to avert power grid failures and manage critical infrastructure globally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong spatial reasoning skills and the ability to navigate 3D environments with ease.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level (capable of reading instructions, viewing training videos, and communicating effectively).

• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a readiness to learn from constructive feedback.

• A PC/laptop equipped with an Intel i7-11800H (or a comparable/better CPU), a dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or superior; RTX 4060 recommended), and a minimum of 16 GB RAM (32 GB preferred).

• A foundational understanding of power grids (including poles, transformers, and wires) or previous experience with LiDAR data is advantageous.

• A background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is a plus.

• A CV in English that emphasizes spatial and technical proficiencies.
