Data Annotator – Geospatial, LiDAR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and adjust digital 3D twins of electrical distribution networks using LiDAR point cloud data and GIS mapping information.

• Position 3D objects, including poles, lines, and conductors, in accordance with their actual physical locations.

• Integrate 2D map outputs with 3D models.

• Annotate high-resolution drone imagery to identify network components and detect structural defects, including damage or wear on equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in data annotation/marking is preferred; however, candidates without prior annotation experience but with a desire to learn and grow in this area will also be considered.

• Strong spatial reasoning skills and the ability to navigate in a 3D environment.

• English language proficiency at a B1 level: ability to read instructions, view training videos, and communicate basic information with colleagues.

• High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn from feedback.

• A PC/laptop with an Intel i7−11800H processor or equivalent/better.

• NVIDIA T1200 graphics card or equivalent/better; RTX 4060 is recommended.

• A minimum of 16 GB of RAM; 32 GB is preferred.

• Basic understanding of electrical network principles or experience working with LiDAR data will be a plus.

• Education or experience in GIS, surveying, cartography, land management, civil engineering, or related fields will be advantageous.
