This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Reconstruct three-dimensional power grid networks utilizing point cloud (LiDAR) and geographic information system (GIS) data.
• Position 3D elements (such as poles, lines, and conductors) to correspond with actual physical layouts.
• Synchronize original two-dimensional map data with three-dimensional models.
• Annotate high-resolution drone imagery to pinpoint grid components and identify structural issues, including equipment damage or wear.
• Educational background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong spatial reasoning skills and the capability to navigate three-dimensional environments with ease.
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level (ability to comprehend instructions, view training videos, and communicate effectively).
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive approach to learning from feedback.
• Access to a PC or laptop equipped with an Intel i7-11800H (or an equivalent/better CPU), a dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or superior; RTX 4060 is recommended), and a minimum of 16 GB RAM (32 GB preferred).
• Any foundational knowledge of power grids (including poles, transformers, wires) or prior experience with LiDAR data is advantageous.
• Full-time schedule (9 hours per day, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break).
• Standard business hours from 09:00/10:00 to 18:00/19:00 Kyiv time.
