ASL & BASL Video Data Contributor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Record 1,000 brief videos adhering to specified ASL or BASL prompts.

• Follow setup guidelines including posture (sitting/standing), device positioning, and lighting requirements.

• Upload videos and engage in onboarding sessions and regular check-ins.

• Work autonomously while adhering to project deadlines.

• Record concise, voice-assistant-style commands that encompass everyday expressions, common requests, and conversational cues.

• Assist AI systems in enhancing their comprehension of signed requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in ASL or BASL, or have completed at least 2 semesters of college-level ASL.

• Utilize ASL or BASL on a daily basis.

• Basic proficiency in reading and writing English.

• Have access to an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, or iMac).

• Maintain a reliable internet connection.

• Comfortable using the device/camera and following detailed instructions.
