📋 Description

• Analyze and investigate the current detection logic that is based on various interconnected signals and rule-based expressions.

• Comprehend and map out intricate data flows, processing pipelines, and dependencies throughout enterprise systems.

• Identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and unnecessary complexities within existing detection frameworks.

• Suggest simplification and optimization strategies while maintaining detection quality and operational efficiency.

• Perform exploratory analysis on large, complex datasets to validate hypotheses and aid in decision-making.

• Evaluate downstream effects and operational risks associated with proposed changes prior to implementation.

• Convert analytical insights into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and security researchers to gather context and resolve obstacles independently.

• Function effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight delivery cycles.

• Contribute to enhancing analytical methodologies and practices within the newly established team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar analytical positions.

• High proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Experience handling large-scale and complex datasets.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for independently structuring ambiguous challenges.

• Demonstrated experience in driving investigations from hypothesis generation to data-supported conclusions.

• Robust engineering mindset with the capacity to understand and reason about complex logic and codebases.

• Ability to assess system behavior and comprehend the downstream effects of analytical decisions.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with engineering and research teams.

• Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.

• Familiarity with JavaScript.

• Experience with Snowflake.

• Background in cybersecurity, fraud detection, or risk analytics sectors.

• Experience with rule-based systems or detection pipelines.

• Exposure to enterprise-scale analytics platforms.

• Understanding of data pipeline architecture and signal processing systems.
