• Analyze and evaluate current detection logic using interconnected signals and rule-based expressions.

• Map out intricate data flows, processing pipelines, and interdependencies across enterprise systems.

• Identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and excessive complexity within detection frameworks.

• Recommend simplification and optimization strategies while maintaining detection quality and operational efficiency.

• Perform exploratory analysis on extensive and complex datasets.

• Evaluate downstream effects and operational risks associated with proposed modifications.

• Convert analytical insights into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and security researchers.

• Adapt effectively to changing priorities and tight delivery timelines.

• Contribute to enhancing analytical methodologies within the newly established team.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar analytical positions.

• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.

• Experience handling large-scale and intricate datasets.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to independently structure ambiguous challenges.

• Proven track record of driving investigations from hypothesis formulation to data-supported conclusions.

• Strong engineering mindset with an understanding of complex logic and codebases.

• Ability to assess system behavior and downstream consequences of analytical choices.

• Experience collaborating across various functions with engineering and research teams.

• Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with JavaScript.

• Experience with Snowflake is advantageous.

• Background in cybersecurity, fraud detection, or risk analytics is beneficial.

• Experience with rule-based systems or detection pipelines is a plus.

• Exposure to enterprise-level analytics platforms is advantageous.

• Understanding of data pipeline architecture and signal processing systems is a plus.
