This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Develop and sustain API integrations between business systems, ensuring two-way synchronization and integration with the central data repository.
• Establish error management, alert systems, and reconciliation checks for data feeds.
• Automate routine finance and operations tasks, including scheduled data extracts, reconciliation assistance, and supplier invoicing.
• Detect and resolve data quality issues at their source, including entity matching across customer, accounting, and CRM records.
• Contribute to the central data warehouse by designing the staging layer, matching entities, managing incremental loading, and handling historical data.
• Create reports and dashboards in collaboration with finance and operations stakeholders utilizing the central data repository.
• Develop AI-driven workflows and leverage AI development tools to expedite engineering tasks.
• Collect requirements from non-technical stakeholders and convert them into detailed written specifications.
• Evaluate vendor APIs and construct secure, dependable integrations for both established and new systems.
• Address production constraints such as permissions, rate limits, restricted schema access, and variations in vendor API behavior.
• Document, monitor, support, and maintain solutions while adhering to disciplined development and source-control practices.
• Follow established delivery processes that encompass planning, scope definition, pre-sales approvals, peer reviews, documentation, and go-live activities.
• Significant hands-on experience in designing, building, and supporting API integrations between business systems in a production setting.
• Proficient understanding of REST, OAuth2, and webhooks.
• Experience with two-way synchronization, addressing write conflicts, retries, idempotency, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, Entra APIs, or similar vendor APIs.
• Capability to navigate permission restrictions, rate limits, limited schema access, and inconsistent API behavior.
• Strong SQL proficiency, including the use of queries, joins, views, and stored procedures.
• Experience with Power Query, focusing on ETL, data transformation, and M language.
• Proven ability to automate end-to-end recurring processes, including scheduling, monitoring, and handling failures.
• Practical experience utilizing AI coding tools within a reviewed workflow, with the ability to assess and validate AI-generated outputs.
• Experience in creating and delivering reports and dashboards using Power BI or a similar reporting tool.
• Skill in translating reporting needs from non-technical stakeholders into actionable and documented outputs.
• Understanding of how the underlying data model impacts reporting capabilities and limitations.
• Strong emphasis on accuracy, reconciliation, and traceability of data back to its original source.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to finance professionals and business concepts to technical colleagues.
• Capability to work independently with guidance from the Finance Director.
• Aptitude for gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders.
• Willingness to identify and communicate when a solution cannot be implemented securely.
• Strong documentation skills and working practices, including maintaining work in shared environments and source control.
• Preferred: Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, data warehouses or lakehouses, data governance, accounting platforms, PSA/MSP platforms, IT Glue, Liongard, Scalepad, advanced Power BI, MSP/professional services environments, and Power Automate or Zapier.
