Data Analytics Manager, Program Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the program’s reporting and analytics function from start to finish.

• Design, construct, migrate, and manage the program dashboard environment.

• Define the reporting data model, refresh cadence, role-based access design, and version control strategy.

• Establish and uphold a single source of truth for program data.

• Create reporting views at the executive, program, and site levels.

• Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, validation rules, and reconciliation procedures.

• Ensure the accuracy of cost, schedule, deliverable status, risk, change, and quality metrics.

• Establish audit-ready traceability from reported figures to source records.

• Identify and rectify discrepancies before distribution and document the corrections.

• Produce trend analysis, variance analysis, forecasting, and early warning indicators.

• Generate executive summaries with actionable insights and recommendations.

• Assist the PMO Director and program leadership with ad hoc analyses.

• Develop and maintain the framework for program metrics, including definitions, thresholds, and escalation triggers.

• Ensure the integrity of the Master Deliverables Register as a reporting source.

• Collaborate with Document Control for reliable reporting of deliverables workflow.

• Report on deliverable throughput, cycle time, review turnaround compliance, and rework rates.

• Provide guidance, prioritization, and quality review for reporting analysts and document control teams.

• Establish standard procedures, reporting calendars, and quality checks.

• Enhance team capabilities in analytics tools and the program’s data environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination.

• Must complete the FAA background investigation.

• Must secure FAA facility badging and a PIV credential.

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

• A minimum of seven years of experience in program reporting, data analytics, or business intelligence.

• At least two years of experience leading a reporting function or supervising analysts.

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design for executive audiences.

• Experience in migrating or consolidating reporting from legacy tools into a modern dashboard platform.

• Advanced Excel skills, including working with large and imperfect data sets.

• Working proficiency in SharePoint-based document environments.

• Proven ownership of data accuracy in environments where reported figures have client, contractual, or audit implications.

• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to craft executive summaries actionable by senior leaders.

• Preferred: experience in aviation, air traffic systems, airport authority, or federally funded capital programs.

• Preferred: experience with Tableau, SQL, or Power Automate.

• Preferred: familiarity with capital program controls concepts, including earned value, cost and schedule variance, and deliverable lifecycle management.

• Preferred: experience working within a formal quality management system with documented review and approval workflows.

• Preferred: relevant certification such as PMP or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
