This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the next phase of Client Legal Services Legal Operations analytics by creating a governed, scalable data and intelligence framework.
• Develop and implement the CLS Legal Operations data and analytics strategy.
• Oversee the design, development, governance, and lifecycle management of executive and operational Power BI dashboards, semantic models, KPIs, and self-service reporting.
• Construct and maintain governed Microsoft Fabric pipelines, lakehouse or warehouse solutions, reusable data products, and dependable integrations from TeamConnect and other essential systems.
• Identify and execute responsible AI use cases, incorporating natural-language insights, intelligent summarization, anomaly detection, workflow support, and decision-making assistance.
• Establish foundations for predictive and prescriptive analytics, including use-case selection, feature and model development, validation, monitoring, and translating outputs into operational and litigation insights.
• Develop business cases and measurement frameworks linking volume, time savings, capacity, cost avoidance, spend reduction, quality enhancement, and business outcomes to investments.
• Set up data definitions, KPI governance, lineage, access, quality controls, reconciliation, documentation, and issue-resolution standards.
• Offer analytical support for assignment effectiveness, staffing and capacity, cycle time, task compliance, service delivery, quality, litigation trends, outside counsel performance, and workflow optimization.
• Convert complex data and technical concepts into clear, decision-ready insights for CLS and Law & Regulation leadership.
• Mentor and develop analysts, clarify roles and operating practices, document institutional knowledge, and cultivate sustainable talent.
• Collaborate with Legal, Claims, Finance, Quality, Business Architecture, Legal Technology, and enterprise data teams.
• Stay updated on emerging analytics, AI, and legal technology capabilities; evaluate high-value use cases; and transition successful solutions into governed production use.
• 7 or more years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, advanced analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, encompassing data modeling, semantic models, DAX, Power Query, visualization standards, performance optimization, deployment, security, and governance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, data pipelines, notebooks, lakehouse or warehouse models, data engineering, governance, and integration with Power BI.
• Experience utilizing Python, SQL, machine learning, or similar analytical techniques for forecasting, classification, segmentation, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
• Practical knowledge of generative AI, copilots, data agents, prompt-driven analytics, responsible AI controls, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Strong financial and operational understanding, including cost-benefit analysis, capacity modeling, unit cost, benefits tracking, and ROI realization.
• Experience in implementing data quality controls, KPI definitions, documentation, testing, change management, and production support practices.
• Proven ability to lead through influence across technical and business teams and effectively communicate with senior leaders.
• Experience managing analysts or multidisciplinary analytics teams and nurturing technical talent.
• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise reporting products or analytics platforms from intake and design to deployment, adoption, and support.
• Experience in Legal Operations, insurance, claims, litigation, finance, or another complex regulated environment is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, computer science, information systems, finance, business, or a related field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Successful completion of a background check.
