Data & Analytics Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Establish and organize Mellro’s Data & Analytics department, outlining processes, priorities, and governance.

• Integrate data from various sources including the platform, Admin, CRM, customer support, finance, and other systems.

• Develop a unified and trustworthy source of truth for the company’s essential metrics.

• Standardize definitions, metrics, and business rules.

• Create and automate dashboards for commercial, operational, financial, and executive purposes.

• Oversee the entire funnel including leads, registrations, properties, analyses, contracts, retention, delinquency, and payments.

• Detect discrepancies, integration issues, and data quality concerns.

• Generate forecasts and alerts for target deviations, conversion drops, and financial risks.

• Assist the COO and executive team in decision-making and developing action plans.

• Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to ensure data traceability and quality.

• Prioritize the demands of the function and lead its technical advancements.

• Drive and perform hands-on tasks.

• Transform analyses into clear, actionable recommendations to support business decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading or establishing Data, BI, or Analytics functions.

• Advanced skills in SQL and data modeling.

• Familiarity with BI tools and dashboard creation.

• Experience handling commercial, financial, and operational data.

• Understanding of metrics related to funnels, conversion, retention, cohorts, delinquency, and forecasting.

• Knowledge of Python or another programming language for analysis and automation.

• Ability to investigate discrepancies and maintain data quality.

• Experience in documenting metrics and establishing business rules.

• Proficiency in English (Level 2).

• Proficiency in Portuguese (Level 6).

• A Bachelor's degree, associate degree, postgraduate qualification, or technical education.
