Data Analytics Industry Expert – Part-Time, Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Develop and present engaging live webinars, masterclasses, and learning sessions that align with the objectives and subject areas of Data Analytics.

• Assist learners in grasping curriculum content, technical concepts, analytical techniques, and practical applications in business.

• Utilize industry examples, business cases, professional experiences, and practical demonstrations to enhance the course material.

• Guide learners through project milestones and promote the effective use of analytical concepts and tools.

• Facilitate online social learning discussions and foster meaningful engagement among participants.

• Offer clear, constructive, and timely feedback on learners' projects and submitted assignments.

• Evaluate and grade learner project submissions according to established criteria and marking guidelines.

• Conduct live online sessions across various time zones as required.

• Collaborate with learner support colleagues to tackle engagement challenges and assist in course progression.

• Keep up-to-date with current Data Analytics practices, tools, industry advancements, and emerging trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of significant professional experience in Data Analytics, with involvement in multiple phases of the analytics lifecycle.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Data Analytics tools and technologies, including Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, and RStudio.

• Current professional experience in a Data Analytics or closely related position.

• Proven ability in teaching, facilitating, coaching, or mentoring.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and explanatory abilities.

• Confidence in using online communication, collaboration, learning, and presentation technologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, demonstrate empathy, provide constructive feedback, and support learners.

• Capability to work collaboratively and flexibly across different locations and time zones.

• Relevant industry certifications, leadership experience in Data Analytics, or previous online facilitation experience is a plus.
