This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Gather and analyze data from various systems and sources to create a dependable, consolidated view of business performance.
• Develop and manage scalable dashboards and reports for MBRs/QBRs, Sales, Marketing, funnel performance, customer trends, and product usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business inquiries and pinpoint significant metrics.
• Create and sustain data models and reporting frameworks.
• Implement data validation and quality-control measures.
• Work alongside Data Engineers and technical partners to identify data deficiencies and enhance data collection and accessibility.
• Convert complex datasets into clear insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.
• Use SQL and other analytical tools to query and manipulate data.
• Design dashboards and visualizations for teams and leadership.
• Define, document, and standardize business metrics and reporting practices.
• Investigate data inconsistencies and enhance data quality.
• Facilitate recurring executive and leadership reporting, including monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Address ad hoc analytical requests and transform recurring questions into scalable reporting solutions.
• Continuously enhance dashboards, reporting workflows, and analytical processes.
• Over 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, business analytics, or a related field, preferably within a SaaS or technology setting.
• Proficient SQL skills and experience handling large or complex datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience in building dashboards and reports using BI and visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Metabase, or similar.
• Strong grasp of data modeling, metric definitions, and reporting best practices.
• Experience in merging and reconciling data across various business systems such as CRM, product analytics, marketing, billing, finance, or customer success platforms.
• Strong analytical judgment with the ability to identify meaningful information.
• Ability to transform ambiguous business inquiries into structured analytical methodologies.
• Keen attention to detail and high standards for data accuracy and reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining data and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
