Data Analyst, Regulatory Analytics and Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create dashboards, compliance metrics, and regulatory reports for stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and regional compliance officers.

• Streamline end-to-end compliance-related data solutions, governance controls, and workflows through automation.

• Examine complex datasets and develop scalable, audit-ready data models for regulatory reporting and analytics.

• Convert regulatory and business requirements into reports and automated data pipelines utilizing Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow.

• Lead collaborative projects with analysts, engineers, and compliance teams to establish and sustain data pipelines and sources.

• Oversee client data quality monitoring, identify issues, flag necessary remediations, and collaborate with responsible teams for resolution.

• Assist with ad hoc data requests for audits, examinations, risk assessments, and business needs.

• Provide clear, data-driven insights that influence compliance direction.

• Transform complex compliance and regulatory data into actionable insights that safeguard the business, satisfy regulators, and support senior leadership.

• Manage all aspects of data management, including datasets, pipelines, dashboards, and insights for compliance and leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data analysis and data management within the financial services sector or a regulated industry.

• Practical experience in compliance and regulatory reporting across AML, KYC, Sanctions, MiCA, or MiFID frameworks.

• Strong understanding of regulatory risk and audit-ready environments.

• Proficient in SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, and analytical functions.

• Skilled in Python libraries such as pandas, matplotlib, and plotly.

• Practical experience with dbt or similar data-modeling tools.

• Experience in setting up and managing data pipelines and workflow orchestration.

• Proficient with BI and data visualization tools like QuickSight, Power BI, or Superset.

• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.

• A solid understanding of the cryptocurrency sector and financial markets is a plus.
