Data Analyst, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Enhance the eVetting process business rules, focusing on Tier 3 initial and preliminary investigations, to boost automated pass rates and minimize manual reviews.

• Examine investigation, adjudication, and rule test data to pinpoint bottlenecks within automated systems.

• Execute quantitative, qualitative, and NLP analyses on unclassified, PII-free data.

• Interview staff responsible for manual interim determinations to gain insights into their decision-making processes.

• Create written recommendations to adjust eVetting business rules while ensuring compliance with security standards.

• Conduct trending analysis on changes in adjudication policies and assess the relevance of data fields such as “Easy Label.”

• Suggest data enrichment possibilities by incorporating additional data sources.

• Explore predictive and prescriptive analytics methodologies, including predictive risk models and network analysis.

• Liaise and collaborate with user representatives, program sponsors, mission partners, and other client stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person/Citizen.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related discipline is essential.

• A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in data analysis.

• Proven proficiency in quantitative, qualitative, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) methodologies.

• Familiarity with predictive risk modeling and network analysis is highly preferred.

• Must have and maintain a Secret security clearance/eligibility, with a favorably adjudicated T3 or T3R.

• Daily analytical tasks will involve unclassified data that does not contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
