This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the analytical data requirements of the business unit.

• Manage intricate data projects and serve as a lead for fellow Data Analysts.

• Offer advanced analytical assistance for business operations in claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, and/or external reporting.

• Extract, load, model, and reconcile substantial volumes of data across several system platforms and sources.

• Analyze data to assess operational impacts and necessary actions.

• Highlight issues, trends, areas for enhancement, and opportunities to management.

• Create reports and deliverables while making recommendations to management.

• Model data utilizing MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data warehouse analytical tools.

• Support management in making business decisions driven by data.

• Ensure adherence to federal and state deliverable reporting standards through data quality audits and analysis.

• Aid in training and mentoring other Data Analysts.

• Assist in determining workload and related tasks for other Data Analysts.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

• Abide by all policies and standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Preferably have advanced SQL and Snowflake coding and query development skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in Python and Power BI is preferred.

• Experience in the health insurance sector, particularly with claims data, is preferred.

• Experience in driving process improvements, discovering innovative solutions, leading projects, and mentoring colleagues is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in statistical analysis or data analysis is necessary.

• Healthcare experience is preferred.

• Experience in managing projects or significant involvement in project implementation is necessary.

• Proficiency with MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data warehouse analytical tools is required.

• Knowledge of claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, or external reporting is essential.

• Capability to conduct data quality audits and analysis is required.

• Ability to assist in training and mentoring other Data Analysts is essential.
