Data Analyst Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with educators to confirm and enhance the models that drive analytics.

• Cultivate an understanding of algorithms, supporting technologies and platforms, as well as proprietary educational materials.

• Transform knowledge into practical tests.

• Create modules to assess each student’s unique academic requirements.

• Contribute to the data infrastructure and insightful analytics aimed at enhancing education.

• Innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex, real-world data.

• Strong mathematical and quantitative abilities, coupled with exceptional attention to detail.

• An inquisitive mindset regarding the use of data to enhance learning and improve student outcomes.

• Enrollment or completion of studies in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Some coding experience and a keen interest in technology and artificial intelligence.

• Familiarity with SQL, Python data tools such as Pandas or NumPy, or similar technologies.

• Experience in constructing simple data pipelines or Python analysis scripts.

• Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities including formulas, tables, conditional formatting, advanced charting and visualizations, as well as pivot tables and reporting.

• Effective use of Excel for analysis tasks, including data tables, simulations, and Solver.

• U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residency, or authorization to work in the U.S. for this employer.
