Data Analyst Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collect, organize, and verify data from various sources.

• Create dashboards, reports, and visual representations utilizing BI tools.

• Aid in data analysis and the generation of data visualizations to facilitate business decision-making.

• Conduct extensive data processing and analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp data needs and provide solutions.

• Work alongside team members to enhance reporting infrastructure and assist in the rollout of new analytical capabilities.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.

• Communicate findings and suggestions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Assist with ad hoc analyses and strategic initiatives.

• Transform, analyze, and interpret intricate datasets into actionable insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Expertise in SQL and familiarity with contemporary Data Warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).

• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Experience with Snowflake Cortex Code (CoCo), Cursor, or other AI coding tools.

• Background in insurance is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficient in computer keyboarding.

• Adequate hearing, vision, and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to think clearly and conceptually; demonstrate excellent judgment and discretion; capable of meeting deadlines.
