Data Analyst II, Python, R

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Evaluate health management programs, encompassing data collection, validation, and outcome assessment

• Manage intricate data requests, reports, and predictive data modeling

• Execute IRS, CMS, and HEDIS reporting

• Conduct internal data cleansing and data reconciliation analyses

• Carry out trend analysis across various areas of health care management

• Develop and produce reports utilizing MS-Excel, MS-Access, and SQL through the Business Objects interface and direct connections to core databases (ODS/EDW)

• Generate reports for and collaborate with senior management as well as internal and external stakeholders

• Collect and interpret business requirements while monitoring data trends to proactively identify potential issues

• Implement data modifications and update core systems as required

• Manage multiple projects and timelines, regularly communicating risks and issues to the manager

• Support the training of junior Data Analysts

• Perform additional tasks as assigned

• Adhere to all policies and standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• Over 2 years of experience in statistical analysis or data analysis

• Proficiency in coding, preferably R and/or Python, with accompanying SQL skills

• Familiarity with IRS, CMS, and HEDIS reporting

• Experience in data collection, validation, and outcome assessment

• Background in internal data cleansing and data reconciliation analysis

• Proven experience in trend analysis within health care management

• Proficient with MS-Excel, MS-Access, SQL, Business Objects, and core databases (ODS/EDW)

• Capability to gather and interpret business requirements

• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and timelines

• Competence in regularly communicating risks and issues to a manager
