Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Analyze and interpret data to deliver strategic and tactical support.

• Design and execute data collection systems and strategies to enhance statistical efficiency and data quality.

• Utilize statistical techniques to analyze gathered data and generate continuous reports.

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns within complex data sets.

• Assist in the development, management, and delivery of end-to-end analysis.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to grasp the context and business significance of data.

• Cultivate relationships with internal clients and create analytic solutions to fulfill business requirements.

• Generate dynamic, insightful, clear, and informative reports and dashboards utilizing standard business intelligence tools.

• Aid executive management in resolving highly complex issues.

• Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative discipline.

• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis.

• Knowledge of standard statistics and business intelligence tools, including Excel, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, and Chartio.

• Familiarity with standard reporting packages, such as Business Objects.

• Understanding of databases, including SQL Server and SSIS.

• Familiarity with programming languages, including SML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks.

• Exposure to data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation methodologies.

• Proficient in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude.

• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail and precision.

• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational abilities.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
