Data Analyst Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and ensure the reliability of analytical assets that influence strategic choices and enhance business procedures.

• Create and/or refine semantic models while establishing Power BI data modeling and DAX standards in accordance with industry best practices.

• Define and advance standardized processes set forth by the client's Digital & AI Factory.

• Manage the transformation layer comprehensively, ensuring robust data modeling, data normalization, and optimal performance.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to expedite delivery.

• Assess emerging technologies to maintain the practice at the forefront of the market.

• Serve as a technical authority within the Data Analytics community.

• Review semantic models and recommend solutions.

• Mentor senior and mid-level analysts.

• Ensure data accuracy through systematic validation, reconciliation with source systems, and repeatable automated testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related position.

• Proven history of managing business-critical analytics products from start to finish.

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, encompassing semantic modeling, DAX optimization, and performance tuning.

• In-depth knowledge of data manipulation and query languages, specifically SQL and Power Query / M.

• Ability to identify performance bottlenecks at the source.

• Strong familiarity with DBT, Databricks, or other data transformation and pipeline tools.

• Understanding of engineering practices relevant to Power BI, including Git, PBIP, and CI/CD.

• Demonstrated success in implementing data quality and automated testing frameworks.

• Daily, essential use of AI-assisted tools for analytics development, with the ability to validate and correct generated outputs.
