This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia, +2 more states.

• Evaluate and enhance the quality of data for multilingual text classifiers

• Collaborate with Linguistics and Engineering teams to create parsers in various languages

• Translate taxonomies, which include Skills, Titles, and Occupations

• Analyze and refine data using Excel and other analytical tools

• Utilize expertise in language, data, and text analysis to ensure high-quality global data

• Assist Lightcast's global data projects and provide premium data to clients across international markets

• Proficient in reading and writing Croatian, with a solid grasp of language syntax and structural analysis

• Access to a reliable laptop and internet connection

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, data cleanup, and various functions

• Understanding of query languages such as SQL

• Advanced skills in crafting rules using regular expressions (RegEx)

• Knowledge of text analysis or machine learning concepts

• Experience in data analysis using tools like Excel

• Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks accurately and consistently

• Capability to follow intricate instructions, manage ambiguity, and work independently

• Strong sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills, and effective time management

• Multilingual abilities, especially in Bosnian or Serbian, are highly desirable

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or a related field is preferred

• Full-time work schedule of 40 hours per week

• Engagement as an independent contractor for up to 6 months
