Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, and interpret extensive datasets pertaining to health insurance claims, clients, pharmaceuticals, and members.

• Detect trends and insights that drive informed business decisions.

• Execute data wrangling tasks.

• Develop and maintain company data and analytics dashboards.

• Create Power BI dashboards.

• Conduct analyses that support business decisions, highlight opportunities, and steer new programs and initiatives.

• Generate custom reports and data extracts for client, compliance, and internal business requirements.

• Design and enhance data solutions, including basic SQL views, tables, and reporting assets.

• Establish and uphold process documentation, reporting standards, and team knowledge resources.

• Resolve complex data issues.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to pinpoint inconsistencies, trends, and improvement opportunities within the data warehouse.

• Collaborate with team members, business partners, and leadership across departments.

• Execute quality assurance reviews of reports, analyses, and data deliverables.

• Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and streamline reporting and analytics processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role; or a Master's degree in a relevant field.

• Proficient SQL skills with the capability to construct complex queries and perform data analysis.

• Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau, Azure AAS, or similar reporting and analytics platforms.

• Advanced skills in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and reporting functionalities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data troubleshooting abilities.

• Comprehension of database concepts and principles of data warehousing.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent quality assurance, data validation, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, reporting, and analytical workflows.
