Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and fulfill incoming data requests from internal teams and partners, which includes ad hoc counts and user lists.

• Verify numbers and identify discrepancies that do not seem accurate.

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Associate Data Solutions Director to design and implement standard reports.

• Generate participant outreach lists utilizing Rally and/or BigQuery.

• Work alongside the Associate Solutions Engineer on digital infrastructure and suppression logic.

• Analyze participant activity data to assess outreach effectiveness and pinpoint opportunities for increased impact.

• Document recurring queries and report logic for future use throughout the program.

• Utilize LLMs to develop skills and workflows that assist other departments in exploring and analyzing data.

• Ensure that outreach lists are accurate, properly suppressed, and validated prior to distribution.

• Act as the primary contact for data inquiries from other departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and the ability to debug queries created by others.

• Familiarity with Google BigQuery or equivalent data warehouse solutions.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in an accessible manner to non-technical staff.

• Dedication to advocating for progressive electoral outcomes.

• Excels in a highly collaborative remote work setting.

• Fully virtual position requiring dependable internet access and proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and similar online tools.

• Previous campaign/organizing experience is a plus.

• Experience with LLM tools to enhance analysis speed or create reusable workflows is a plus.
