📋 Description

• Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, and Data Insights on an expanding collection of interactive dashboards across product teams.

• Develop new datasets and advanced dashboards.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of data and business processes spanning applications and data domains.

• Promote best development practices among teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL, Hadoop, BigData, Hive, and NiFi.

• Capability to analyze the structure of existing reports and reverse engineer table relationships.

• In-depth knowledge of the Retail Domain.

• Experience with various phases of data warehouse projects, including data extraction, cleansing, aggregation, validation, transformation, and loading.

• Familiarity with DataStage components such as Sequential File, Join, Sort, Merge, Lookup, Transformer, Remove Duplicates, Copy, Filter, Funnel, Dataset, Change Data Capture, and Aggregator.

• Solid understanding of database commands (DDL and DML) and data warehousing implementation models.

• Practical experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, NiFi, and YARN.

• Familiarity with Mainframe ESP for job scheduling.

• Knowledge of branched development environments (dev, QA, prod, etc.).

• Passionate about data and its capabilities.

• Experience in analyzing lines of business and databases, as well as writing scripts.

• Proficient in connecting to additional data sources such as Azure and MySQL.

• Experience with CI/CD practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Candidates lacking a Computer Science or Information Technology degree should possess considerable work experience.
