Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the management and maintenance of data sets, ensuring their accuracy, consistency, and organization.

• Provide support for data cleansing and quality assurance on incoming data, identifying issues and aiding in their resolution.

• Contribute to the creation and updating of reports and dashboards for the team and program stakeholders.

• Extract data from various sources and help maintain the reporting environment, including data sources and metadata, under the supervision of senior analysts.

• Facilitate efforts to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, including tasks related to data integrity and normalization.

• Handle confidential and sensitive information with care, adhering to all data management guidelines.

• Assist in translating reporting requirements into understandable terms and communicate results to non-technical audiences.

• Provide support to end users by addressing inquiries and assisting them in utilizing new reports and dashboards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, information systems, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in Excel and a strong enthusiasm for working with data on a daily basis.

• Some familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI gained through coursework, projects, internships, or professional experience.

• Excellent attention to detail along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance, which necessitates U.S. work authorization.

• Internship or project experience involving data cleansing, reporting, or dashboards.

• Practical knowledge of SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Interest in or previous exposure to federal or government work.
