This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Contribute to the advancement of data architecture and strategy.
• Establish standards, make pivotal technical decisions, and shape the direction of the data platform.
• Lead the design and progression of the cloud data architecture (AWS), ensuring scalability, performance, and governance.
• Design and implement robust, resilient, and efficient data pipelines.
• Set technical standards for data modeling, ingestion, orchestration, and quality.
• Act as a technical reference for the team, mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
• Drive decisions regarding architecture and technology.
• Lead complex data integration projects, including ERP, e-commerce, CRM, and franchise systems.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability throughout the pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with the business to translate strategic challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Enhance DataOps, CI/CD, and pipeline observability practices.
• Optimize the performance and costs of data infrastructure.
• Take a leading role in realizing the omnichannel vision and data semantic layer.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of the existing environment.
• Strong background in data analysis and engineering within large-scale environments.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, Glue, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in data orchestration (Kestra, Airflow, or similar tools).
• Advanced SQL capabilities (tuning, modeling, complex queries, and stored procedures).
• Proficient in Python applied to data and automation.
• Experience in developing scripts and automations (ETL, validations, and integrations).
• Practical knowledge of RPA or process automation (e.g., Selenium, scripts, and integrations with legacy systems).
• Experience with analytical data modeling (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, etc.).
• Ability to integrate multiple sources and complex systems.
• Familiarity with BI tools and an understanding of data consumption.
• Proven track record in delivering end-to-end projects, encompassing architecture, development, and maintenance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
• Practical experience with Redshift.
• Experience in building semantic layers and implementing data governance.
• Knowledge of DataOps and pipeline automation (CI/CD).
• Experience with event-driven architecture (SNS, SQS, etc.).
• Involvement in omnichannel or data unification projects.
• Knowledge of cloud costs and optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with version control and software engineering practices (Git).
