Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance SQL queries to extract, join, and aggregate information from extensive relational datasets.

• Utilize Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.

• Analyze datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and potential business opportunities.

• Create and manage dashboards along with regular reporting.

• Collaborate with product and customer success teams to convert ambiguous inquiries into actionable analyses.

• Examine data quality concerns and collaborate with engineering to address issues at the source.

• Record data definitions, metrics, and methodologies.

• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Convert raw data into informed business decisions for Clarium's AI-driven healthcare supply-chain platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in analytics, data, or business intelligence roles.

• Strong expertise in SQL, encompassing joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization for large tables.

• Proficient in Python for data analysis, particularly with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter.

• Practical experience with relational databases.

• Familiarity with Git, including branching, pull requests, and collaborative work in a shared codebase.

• Capability to independently define the scope of analyses based on vague business inquiries.

• Proactive in identifying valuable investigations.

• Proven history of developing dashboards and reports that others depend on.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and Snowflake is highly preferred.

• Background in healthcare data, including claims, EHR/EMR, eligibility, clinical, or patient-level data is advantageous.

• Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI/PII management, HL7/FHIR, and ICD/CPT coding is a plus.

• Familiarity with hospital cost and operations data, ERP/supply chain, resource utilization, or charge data is desirable.

• Experience with dbt or similar analytics engineering processes is a bonus.

• Proficiency in BI and visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
