Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Analyze operational, product, and financial data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Create dashboards, reports, and monitoring tools that offer insights into business and system performance.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, risk, compliance, and operations teams to facilitate new initiatives, workflows, features, and policies.

• Review and optimize processes related to applications, onboarding, transactions, servicing, fraud, rewards, and other phases of the customer lifecycle.

• Investigate data discrepancies, system challenges, and partner-related escalations to identify root causes and support corrective measures.

• Provide analytical assistance for forecasting, business evaluations, strategic planning, and other organizational efforts.

• Contribute to enhancing data quality, documentation, reporting standards, and analytical methodologies.

• Oversee analytical projects from the initial problem definition through analysis, recommendations, and implementation.

• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in an analytical, operations, strategy, or data-centric role.

• Strong expertise in SQL, Excel/Sheets, and Python.

• Professional experience utilizing AI tools for analysis, workflow development, automation, or generating business insights.

• Proven ability to integrate AI into professional workflows, including prompt development, model evaluation, data preparation, or workflow enhancement.

• Experience with large datasets and creating dependable dashboards or reporting solutions.

• Familiarity with Looker, Tableau, Omni, Mode, or comparable reporting and analytics platforms.

• Strong grasp of business processes, KPIs, and analytical frameworks.

• Capability to dissect complex or unclear problems independently and develop structured approaches for resolution.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, operations, or other cross-functional teams.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while taking ownership of projects.

• Excellent attention to detail, curiosity, and a passion for building reliable analytical systems and business processes.

• Experience in developing or implementing internal AI tools, automations, or agents.

• Familiarity with financial systems, reconciliation processes, or data integrity challenges.

• Background in fintech, credit or financial systems, fraud, risk, or customer lifecycle analytics.
