Data Analyst, Arabic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and enhance the quality of data for multilingual text classifiers.

• Collaborate with Linguistics and Engineering teams to create parsers for various regions and Arabic dialects.

• Translate taxonomies that include Skills, Titles, and Occupations.

• Examine and refine data utilizing Excel and other analytical tools.

• Leverage expertise in language, data, and text analysis to ensure high-quality global data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in reading and writing Arabic, with a solid grasp of Arabic syntax and structural analysis.

• Possess a reliable laptop and consistent internet access.

• Familiarity with various Arabic dialects is preferred.

• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• A Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or a related field is preferred.

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, data cleanup, and various functions.

• Understanding of query languages like SQL.

• Advanced skills in writing rules with regular expressions (RegEx).

• Familiarity with text analysis or principles of machine learning.

• Experience with data analysis utilizing tools such as Excel.

• Capability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with precision and consistency.

• Ability to adhere to complex instructions, manage ambiguity, and work autonomously.

• Strong sense of urgency, organizational skills, and time management proficiency.
