Data & AI Intern, Graduate/Master’s

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in AI/ML initiatives focusing on fraud prevention, credit risk evaluation, and instantaneous decision-making.

• Create and refine an agentic AI platform along with intelligent agents that streamline workflows and enhance decision-making support.

• Develop solutions spanning engineering, product management, operations, and customer experience sectors.

• Design and implement platforms and tools for processing, enriching, and optimizing essential company data.

• Architect and execute AI-assisted workflows intended for production settings.

• Utilize specification-driven development methodologies and declarative system design principles.

• Work with data ingestion, processing, analytics, and big data technologies.

• Collaborate with skilled engineers and researchers to generate innovative solutions and tackle technical challenges.

• Share research results and project achievements with teams and stakeholders.

• Contribute to the Data Acquisition Team by facilitating the ingestion, validation, and orchestration of raw data from internal systems and external providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven programming experience, including the ability to write, read, test, debug, and troubleshoot code.

• Practical experience in software development or programming solutions gained through professional work, internships, academic courses, school projects, research, or self-directed coding endeavors.

• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, or another relevant language.

• Capacity to apply programming concepts and problem-solving abilities to create effective and maintainable solutions.

• Ability to present examples of programming work when requested.

• Proven capability to independently utilize programming skills to resolve issues or develop software.

• Practical experience in working with data, including analysis, manipulation, or visualization tasks.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

• Knowledge of fundamental DevOps practices is preferred.

• Exposure to SQL, ELT, and data warehousing concepts is preferred.

• Familiarity with essential AI/ML concepts is preferred.

• Interest in Specification-Driven Development and utilizing AI assistants for writing structured, high-quality code is preferred.

• Previous involvement in open-source projects or academic publications is advantageous.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work efficiently within a team environment.
