Data 360, Architect Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the subject matter expert on Salesforce Data 360 for both internal teams and enterprise clients.

• Provide guidance on Data 360 functionalities, technical infrastructure, use cases, implementation methodologies, and architectural options.

• Serve as a senior escalation point for critical or intricate challenges related to Data 360 projects.

• Identify issues, propose strategic and technical solutions, and assist teams in reaching resolutions.

• Collaborate with customers and account teams to evaluate business challenges and pinpoint high-impact use cases.

• Define the scope of solutions, develop comprehensive technical designs, and communicate the anticipated business value.

• Lead mentorship and enablement initiatives.

• Create technical documentation, reference architectures, and reusable assets and patterns.

• Conduct internal training sessions to enhance Data 360 knowledge across CSG.

• Keep up-to-date with the product roadmap and the wider data platform landscape.

• Offer Voice of the Customer insights to Product and Engineering teams.

• Collaborate with GTM counterparts during pre-sales efforts.

• Provide technical validation, shape project scope, and contribute to future service offerings.

• Manage 2–3 strategic client engagements simultaneously.

• Achieve a utilization target of 50%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on, practical experience with Salesforce Data 360, guiding customers towards successful platform utilization.

• Salesforce Data 360 Consultant certification is mandatory.

• Strong comprehension of data management for both structured and unstructured data.

• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Data 360, external systems, data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.

• Experience with Customer Data Platforms and data warehousing solutions preferred, including Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, or SQL Server.

• Ability to influence groups, facilitate solution development, lead architectural and enterprise transformation discussions, and conduct executive-level requirements gathering.

• Experience with AI-related data integration technologies and concepts, including RAG, vector databases, search indexes, and knowledge bases.

• Relevant Salesforce experience in Agentforce, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.

• Additional Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.

• Proficient in communicating complex business and technical ideas using visualization and modeling tools.

• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Security, and Data Privacy concepts and regulations is preferred.

• BA/BS degree or foreign equivalent in a technical or related discipline.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, anticipated to be less than 10%.

• Ability to articulate clearly with C-level executives.
