📋 Description

• Evaluate dairy production, herd health, nutrition, reproduction, sensor, genomic, and operational data

• Utilize statistical analysis and predictive modeling to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities pertaining to herd performance

• Assist in dairy research projects, field trials, experimental design, data analysis, and technical reporting

• Employ Python, R, SQL, Databricks, or comparable analytics platforms to investigate and analyze intricate datasets

• Aid in the creation of dashboards, reports, decision-support tools, and automated analytics solutions

• Assess precision dairy technologies, herd management systems, automated milking systems, IoT devices, and other innovative technologies

• Collaborate with veterinarians, nutritionists, farm managers, researchers, data scientists, and engineers

• Convert scientific discoveries and analytical outcomes into actionable recommendations for dairy operations and business teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Science, Statistics, Data Science, Veterinary Science, Biology, or a related discipline

• Significant academic, research, or professional experience related to dairy cattle, dairy production, herd health, nutrition, reproduction, milk production, or animal science

• Proficient in using data and statistics to address scientific or operational inquiries

• Some practical programming or analytics experience with tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, or similar technologies

• Understanding of statistical analysis, experimental design, or predictive modeling

• Ability to convey scientific and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn new data platforms and technologies
