This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assess AI-generated outputs related to data science, statistics, machine learning, and quantitative challenges.
• Review analytical techniques, underlying assumptions, conclusions, numerical precision, logical coherence, and evidence utilization.
• Detect flawed methodologies, erroneous statistical reasoning, unsupported conclusions, overfitting, data leakage, bias, insufficient validation, and unsuitable metrics.
• Compare various analytical methods and articulate the relevant trade-offs involved.
• Develop expert-level prompts, datasets, scenarios, and reference solutions for comprehensive quantitative and analytical assessments.
• Clearly define assumptions, calculations, and methodologies.
• Ensure that reference materials are reproducible, technically sound, and suitably challenging.
• Evaluate experimental design, hypothesis testing, and the interpretation of outcomes.
• Review Python, pandas, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data modeling processes.
• Identify deficiencies in experimental setups, measurements, or causal interpretations.
• Offer structured written feedback on errors, weaknesses, and areas for enhancement.
• Recognize recurring patterns of flawed reasoning and contribute evaluation resources to enhance AI model performance.
• Maintain uniform standards across various data science and quantitative activities.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in data science, quantitative analysis, machine learning, or a related field.
• Experience in a top-tier or highly esteemed organization.
• A portion of relevant professional experience should have been acquired within the last 7 years.
• Strong expertise in Python programming.
• Solid grasp of statistics, experimentation, and quantitative analysis.
• Practical experience in machine learning and data modeling.
• Familiarity with pandas and contemporary data analysis workflows.
• Capability to identify methodological flaws and weak statistical reasoning.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
• An undergraduate degree from a highly reputable university is preferred.
• Preference for candidates located in English-speaking countries.
• Ability to work without relying on confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, company, research organization, institution, or other third party.
