📋 Description

• Oversee the development of data science products, establishing standards, best practices, and fostering innovation within the data science Center of Excellence.

• Experiment with, construct, and integrate data science solutions into essential business processes and explore new opportunities.

• Define and continuously enhance the machine learning environment.

• Create and implement AI models that influence business decisions.

• Establish governance routines and best practices for model management, peer reviews, privacy, ethics, and compliance with bias standards.

• Introduce relevant data science techniques, algorithms, and tools to the team.

• Offer technical oversight, support, and mentorship to junior data scientists.

• Utilize model testing and tuning techniques to evaluate accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness.

• Innovate new machine learning methodologies and facilitate change across the organization.

• Contribute to code documentation and maintain operational playbooks.

• Provide timely updates on progress.

• Formulate compelling hypotheses to stimulate new business initiatives.

• Collaborate with various business units to co-create solutions and enhance strategic approaches.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.

• More than 12 years of experience in data and analytics, with over 8 years specifically in data science.

• At least 7 years of experience using methods and tools to extract, curate, explore, and analyze data from large datasets.

• A minimum of 7 years developing, integrating, and deploying machine learning solutions within business decision-making processes.

• Over 7 years of experience in leveraging algorithms, tuning parameters, and conducting back-testing validation.

• At least 5 years leading machine learning project development.

• Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning models, encompassing traditional ML and Generative AI.

• Extensive experience in model evaluation, A/B testing, and causal analysis.

• Experience in researching new data sources and analytical tools, aiding application development, and enhancing data quality.

• Ability to collaborate with product owners and managers to transform business requirements into scalable AI solutions.

• Proficiency in communicating technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders, both in written and verbal formats.

• Participation in E-Verify and pre-employment substance abuse testing.
