D365 F&O Functional Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide consultation on Dynamics 365 ERP projects, encompassing implementation, upgrades, and enhancements of current applications.

• Manage and execute the scope of the Dynamics 365 F&O solution.

• Aid clients in the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 F&O.

• Enhance operational metrics, develop business cases, and assess performance.

• Offer functional expertise and maintain client relationships.

• Collaborate with MCA Connect consultants to ensure implementations align with customer expectations.

• Deliver cross-functional guidance on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O/ERP configurations.

• Lead the definition of functional requirements, solution design, design meetings, and gap analysis.

• Guarantee the quality of design, configuration, and testing of Dynamics 365 ERP modules.

• Specify requirements for custom code, integrations, and reports; test finalized solutions.

• Facilitate business decision-making with senior client leadership.

• Coordinate cross-practice collaboration and support technical leaders.

• Ensure compliance with MCA Connect methodology and Statements of Work.

• Develop and implement system cutover and Go Live plans.

• Define Application Lifecycle Management strategies.

• Assist with user documentation and training for end-users and system administrators.

• Support data migration, reconciliation, cleanup, and LCS setup.

• Create Azure DevOps test plans and aid in CRP/UAT issue resolution.

• Mentor project teams and facilitate knowledge transfer.

• Provide scoping documentation and contribute to status reports and delivery tracking.

• Assist in debugging and resolving code issues.

• Manage ISV decisions, integration strategies, Microsoft version updates, and FastTrack requirements.

• Track project milestones, sign-offs, continuous learning, and D365 feature improvements.

• Create and present internal and external training, communication, and marketing materials.

• Represent MCA Connect at promotional and educational events.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an implementation functional lead for Dynamics 365 F&O/Dynamics AX.

• A minimum of 2 complete lifecycle implementations of Dynamics 365 F&O/Dynamics AX (from Analysis to Deployment).

• At least 5 years of experience in the industry and/or consulting.

• Certification in Dynamics 365 F&O/Dynamics AX Supply Chain/Production/Finance, or the ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment.

• Strong industry experience in Manufacturing.

• Familiarity with industry-specific best practices.

• Exceptional communication, planning, and organizational skills.

• Strong customer relationship management skills.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

• Bachelor’s Degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Fluent in English.

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
