Cybersecurity – Qualys Technical Project Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Assist in the deployment of MTSB dashboards within the Qualys platform utilized by the client.

• Evaluate existing requirements and pinpoint any missing capabilities, functionalities, or technical dependencies.

• Collect and assess both technical and functional requirements.

• Create comprehensive specifications for implementation purposes.

• Organize and monitor implementation tasks with the external service provider.

• Track progress and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

• Serve as the technical liaison between internal client teams and the provider.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the implementation.

• Oversee and assist in dashboard testing procedures.

• Aggregate tester and stakeholder feedback and convert it into actionable modifications.

• Manage necessary adjustments and follow up until all issues and changes are resolved.

• Contribute to the quality assurance and acceptance of the implemented dashboards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in technical implementation or project coordination within IT settings.

• Familiarity with dashboard implementations and technical requirements.

• Capability to identify absent technical functionalities and articulate the necessary requirements to address them.

• Proficient in creating technical documentation and writing specifications.

• Experience in coordinating and following up with external technology vendors.

• Background in testing, validation, and acceptance of technical solutions.

• Skilled at collecting, analyzing, and managing feedback from testers/users and coordinating subsequent changes.

• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and function as an intermediary between technical teams, providers, and business users.

• Prior experience with Qualys or similar cybersecurity platforms.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity dashboards and reporting solutions.

• Understanding of vulnerability management and security assessment processes.

• Experience in implementing or configuring security-related tools.

• Familiarity with MTSB dashboards or comparable security/compliance dashboards.

• Experience in enterprise cybersecurity environments.

• Previous work with large organizations or multinational settings.

• Experience in coordinating implementations with external software vendors.

• Background in UAT / functional testing / technical acceptance.

• Ability to translate business or technical requirements into detailed implementation specifications.

• Proficiency in English is essential.
