Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement, maintain, and enhance enterprise cybersecurity platforms.

• Provide advanced operational support and troubleshooting for security monitoring, analytics, and reporting solutions.

• Design and develop integrations, as well as onboard new data sources.

• Enhance telemetry collection across various environments.

• Create and refine detection rules, correlation logic, and automation workflows.

• Develop dashboards, reporting solutions, and KPIs tailored for both technical and business stakeholders.

• Drive initiatives for platform modernization.

• Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

• Support knowledge-sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement within the cybersecurity team.

• Collaborate with Security Operations, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to bolster cyber defense capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Operations, Platform Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency with SIEM, monitoring, detection, analytics, and security automation platforms.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in complex enterprise environments.

• Good understanding of cloud technologies, security operations, and infrastructure components.

• Experience in integrating and managing multiple security tools and data sources.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
